What's New
THERE IS MUCH TO CELEBRATE AT CROXSON DESIGN!
We are pleased to announce that our work was honored as exceptional B2B communications at the
Business Marketing Association 26th Annual Lantern Awards of Texas on November 21st. What we love about
the BMA Lantern Awards is that results gained in the marketplace for a client are as important as aesthetics.
The following projects were winners:
Lantern Award - Best Brand Identity
Revenew International
Lantern Award - Best Tagline
Revenew International
Award of Excellence - Annual Report
Cabot Oil & Gas 2012 Annual Report
Judge’s Choice Award
The judges were particularly impressed by our brand development for Revenew International, and the highlight of the evening was when we heard our name announced as the winner of the Judge’s Choice Award - a special distinction the judges created for their favorite work in the entire show! Judges' comments include "love the integration of the bar graph and how it reflects growth and steps," "strong font choices," "unique/modern color palette, bold choice for an accounting firm."
Many thanks to our wonderful team, and to the wonderful clients who allow us to create great work.
2012 BMA LANTERN AWARDS OF TEXAS
There was much to celebrate last week for CROXSON Design! We are pleased to announce that the following projects we developed were honored as examples of exceptional B2B communications at the 2012 Business Marketing Association Lantern Awards of Texas.
Verdande Technologies - Digital Campaign
Our “Hindsight.Insight.Foresight.” theme communicates the core of what DrillEdge – a revolutionary, predictive software
for drillers – delivers.
CVR Partners 2011 Annual Report
This was the first annual report for CVR, a nitrogen fertilizer producer located in America’s heartland. Structured as a Limited Partnership, the company’s primary messages were 1. We pay strong dividends and 2. Nitrogen grows crops with higher yields.
Our double entendre headline of “Maximizing Yields” communicates both powerfully and memorably.
CNC Manufacturing - Brand Identity
The oilfield industry’s most respected custom machine shop needed to update a 33-year old logo and better reflect their state-of-the-art facility and unparalleled technology.
As always, much credit is due to our incredible clients who recognize that good design can elevate a brand to greater heights and a dominant position in the marketplace. You support us and inspire us to create great work.
LAUNCH OF WOMEN'S ENERGY NETWORK NEWSLETTER
We were approached by the Women's Energy Network to launch an online newsletter for this dynamic, international association. We developed the name "empower" to build upon their "Empowering Women in Energy" tagline, and created a digital vehicle to educate, inform and keep the geographically-diverse members in touch. Recent issues can be seen here:
AMA CRYSTAL AWARDS
CROXSON Design won a best-in-category Crystal Award for our Cabot Oil & Gas 2010 Annual Report – the second consecutive year we've earned this accolade for our work with Cabot. We have enjoyed a 14-year relationship with this leading exploration & production company, and look forward to many more years of creating great work together!
AIGA STUDIO SPOTLIGHT
AIGA Houston featured CROXSON Design in its Studio Spotlight series and interviewed principals Steve and Laurie Croxson. Insights into our business philosophy, design strategy and personalities provide a snapshot of who we are and how we think, as we develop brands and communication solutions for our clients. BMA AGENCY OF THE YEAR
We were delighted to hear the name "CROXSON Design" when the Business Marketing Association announced Agency of the Year at the 2009 BMA Lantern Awards. We are honored to accept this title on behalf of our incredible clients, who contribute so much to the success of every project.
LOL FOR A WORTHY CAUSE
When the Houston Area Women's Center asked us to help promote their Gala earlier this year, we were happy to say yes. And even happier when we learned that Lily Tomlin would be the featured performer. Our concept--LOL w/Lily--set the tone for an incredibly entertaining evening, which raised a record-breaking $625,000 for the Women's Center while introducing new supporters to the organization and its mission.
